Giant Pandas, regarded as a national treasure of China, are considered a living fossil. Chinese Pandas mainly live in central-western and southwest China,and are currently endangered species. The giant panda is a national treasure in China and is therefore protected by law. This unique bear has long been revered by the Chinese and can be found in Chinese art dating back thousands of years.
Pandas usually eat bamboos, bamboo poles, bamboo shoots , and eat berries, bird eggs as their main dishes. They have bad earing, retard eyesight, as smell sensitivity, good climbing, swimming as well.
At present, because of hunting, disease , the death of large areas of bamboo and other reasons, the number of pandas in the wild has fallen to 900-1200.
Government has established "giant panda conservation projects", through the expansion of new protected areas, to protect and improve habitat and reduce human disturbance by such series of measures.
